With a little bit of the story of Power Poppy unveiled yesterday, today we get to share some of the "faces" that will help bring Power Poppy to full bloom! We affectionately call this fabulous and fierce team "The Bloom Brigade" because as you'll soon see - each one has a wild and beautiful facet that they bring with them to this very creative team! Want to learn a little more about this wildly talented force of artistic talent? Marcella asked each of us a question and many of them made us say... "Hmmmm...." Just click HERE to see for yourself!
Q: Morning Sunshine or Night Owl?
Oh, most definitely a Night Owl! I cannot tell you how many late nights I have
spent in the craft room with my little miniature longhaired dachshund, Baxter,
at my feet. Now, I am not saying that I
don’t enjoy a nice morning cup of coffee on the front porch listening to the
birds, but I am not one that jumps out of bed in the morning rarin’ to go! I am very fortunate that I have a wonderfully
supportive husband, Matt, that is very tolerant of my late night card making
escapades! When I am not card making by
the light of the moon, I do have a few other hobbies that I indulge
in…gardening, cross stitching, cooking, reading, or just hanging out with my
guys. If it’s football season, you will
find me most Saturdays watching college football….Go DAWGS! Yes, I am a Georgia girl and I have the
accent to prove it! I am beyond ecstatic
to be a part of Power Poppy and work alongside all of these amazingly talented
and big hearted ladies! I can’t tell you
what an honor and privilege it is for me to represent this wonderful company.
Add the fact that I get to work with these gorgeous images and you have one very happy girl!
These wonderfully dynamic women all have different "sides" to their lives! See what makes their creativity click! Learn a little more as you hop on over and see.....

I will leave the Go Dawgs at that for now.... ;-) hee hee Katie girl you and your moonlight card making, have one question. Is that in your jammies? bawhaha... Girl totally thrilled you are on this journey with us. You have MAD skills and it shows! You do have an accent and I ADORE the sound of it and I ADORE you! Sweet hugs missy!
ReplyDeleteWell sweet Georgia girl, I have long appreciated your beautiful talent, and I’m thrilled to also be getting to see the beautiful inside of you too! You’re a gem Katie!
ReplyDeleteWell, from now on I'm going to be reading your posts and imagining a Georgia accent! I would most definitely be crafting alongside you well into the night! I don't do mornings and have to drag myself out of bed all bleary eyed! :) Looking forward to this wonderful adventure alongside your Katie! :)
ReplyDeleteAh Katie...if we lived close by one another I know we would be best buds! I feel the kinship girl! And like Kathy, I heard that sweet southern accent! Oh, the places we will go! Buckle up!
ReplyDeleteKatie, Katie, Katie, my kindred spirit! I SO try not to be a nightowl, but going to work in the mornings kind of puts the kibosh on the morning sunshine. You, sweet girl, are sunshine all day long, it seems to me. I'm SO glad we've had a chance to get acquainted, and I feel like I've known you forever. What fun we're going to have!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could be a night owl. Like Leslie I try not to be one but it is hard the older you get. The thought of being exhausted the next day isn't as fun as it used to be.LOL. I am really looking forward to stamping with you . You are a breath of fresh air. The Georgia peach is not far from the Tarheel state either. Love the south.
ReplyDeleteGirl... I knew I would like you! First, I find out that you too are a hugger. Then, I find out you are a night owl. Then, I hear while you're not a morning person that you do love listening to the birds in the morning with a cuppa joe. That could be me! HA! Like we've said from the start, this is going to be one heck of a fun ride and I am so glad we're strapped in together! Cheers girlie to the start of something beautiful! :-)
ReplyDeleteI feel like we could be kindred spirits Katie. We've never met in person, and have only recently been getting to know each other, but I feel like if we were to meet over coffee, we would talk like we've known each other forever! I too am a night owl, but I stamp during the day and either read or watch tv at night. And...I'm a bird freak. The first thing I do in the morning is open windows and my front door so I can listen to them sing. We have a Mockingbird that really puts on a show sometimes. What a treat to get to know you better! What a blessing to be a part of this team!! (HUGS)
