Happy Power Poppy Friday~April 19th!
Hello there and happy Friday to you! I hope you have been doing well. I have a little card to share with you today for Power Poppy's Friday inspiration featuring the adorable stamp set Party Time.
I started by stamping the piece of cake image on white card stock and colored it with Copics. Next, I stamped the image again and made a mask to cover my colored image and stamped the presents. After that, I stitched some patterned paper on each side and adhered it to my card base. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink onto some gray card stock, heat embossed it with white embossing powder and adhered it to my card. This card measures 3" x 6".
I just love both of these images! Marcella has once again added so much detail here. I know we all love to color these beauties, but you can clearly see that her images are so beautifully detailed that they look amazing left uncolored. :)
So that is all for my card today but please make sure you check out the Power Poppy blog for the latest happenings at Bloom Central. I thank you so much for your visit today and I hope to see you around again soon...until then, take care!

Happy Power Poppy Friday!
Hello there and a very happy Friday to you! I have a quick post to share with you for your Power Poppy Friday inspiration using the darling Party Time stamp set.
Now let me start by saying that although I like a yellow and black color scheme as much as the next person, it just so happens that those are the colors of a rival team of my beloved Georgia Bulldogs. To use these colors during football season pains me to no end, let me assure you, but it also happens to be the birthday a very dear friend of mine.....and yes, she is a Georgia Tech fan. Soooo, it is amazing what you find you will do for a bestie, isn't it? ;)
I did not use any dies for my card this week, just some trimmed papers and a corner rounder. I stamped my image and sentiment using Memento's Tuxedo Black ink and colored my image with Copics. After adding a little shimmer with my Wink of Stella Clear Brush pen, I spattered a little ink here and there and then stitched some patterned papers to the top. I adhered my image panel to my card base and tied on a ribbon.
I just love this cake! The stamp set has a few wee sentiments to fit in the darling banner too!
So that is all for my card today, but some of my Bloomie sisters have created some beauties for your Friday inspiration. Make sure you leave them a little blog love while you are there and make sure you check out the happenings on the Power Poppy blog too! I thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you will find your way back here again soon. Until then, take care! AND....I am wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! :)

Happy Friday with Power Poppy!
Hello there and welcome for another Power Poppy Friday post. I am so glad you could stop by today! For today's card, I chose to use the darling stamp set Party Time.
I started by stamping my image with Memento's Tuxedo black ink on to card stock and coloring it in with Copics. I added some sparkle with a clear Wink of Stella brush pen. Next, I die cut my colored image with a rectangle die. After that, I made my card base. This card measures 3 5/8" x 5 1/8" . For my card front, I layered card stock and patterned paper, added a banner image and sentiment from the same set and some stitching. All that was left was to assemble everything. At the last minute, I added some sequins.
I just love these stacked presents! You could use them for any occasion and they are SO fun to color! :)
So that is all for my card today but some of my Bloomie sisters have some pretty special cards to share with you today so make sure you check them out and leave them a little blog love while you are there. Thank you so much for you visit today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and I also hope you find your way back here again soon. Until then, take care. :)

How About a Little Power & Spark?
Hi there everybody and I am so glad you stopped by today! I have a quick little post for Power Poppy's new Power & Spark Challenge! This month's lovely hostess is the incredibly talented and super sweet Julie Koerber. Just take a look at her inspiring challenge and fun description...
Power Poppy is going all “C.S.I.” on you this month. No, it’s not what you think. We’re not on the case – we ARE CASE-ing. We are challenging YOU to Copy, Steal, Inspire! All you need to do is pick a Power Poppy creation somewhere in blog land by any designer and be inspired by it. Then, create your own spin on the original design! Just that simple!
So, with that in mind, I went surfing on the net to find my inspiration project. I did not have to look long at all before I came across this darling tag design by Donna Phelan. I loved the look of her beautifully layered tags so I thought I would give that a try....and no better time than now because there is a certain Mr. Sims that is about to have a birthday! So, to go all out, I decided to color up this gorgeous layer cake from the Party Time stamp set in Matt's favorite colors....those of his beloved Georgia Bulldogs. GO DAWGS! With college football season just around the corner, I thought this would make a pretty fun tag for his gift bag. I used some bits of patterned paper and some washi tape for my tags, colored my image up with copics, fussy cut it out and adhered it to a die cut tag that I had stamped the banner image from the same set. Some more patterned paper, stitching, black card stock and a wood grain impression plate finish off the second layer of my tag duo. I added some shimmer to the little sentiment banner with my Wink of Stella clear brush pen. Next, I added my ribbons, twine and button and adhered it to my bag.
I had a little trouble trying to get some good photos of both the bag and tag because the bag was a pretty good sized bag...just right for filling up with goodies for my favorite birthday guy! ;) Here is a slightly closer view of the tag...
I was able to get a photo of everything together but I am afraid that the tag is a little out of focus...but, you get the idea here....
So there you have my birthday tag inspired by Donna's lovely layered tag project. I had so much fun putting this together....thanks, Donna! :)
Well, this is all for my project by I know several of my Bloomie sisters have some pretty amazing things to share with you so make sure you check them out...and leave them a little blog love while you are there. Then, why don't you join us for this challenge? Find a little Power Poppy inspiration, and create your own project...make sure you link it up on the Power Poppy blog for a chance to win a free stamp set! OH....did I mention that today is also the day that the amazing Power Poppy Instant Gardeners are debuting the newest digital image? Make sure you check that out too....it is sure to be quite a display of gorgeous cards for your inspiration. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend.
