Happy Power Poppy Friday~February 8th!
Hello there and welcome to my blog for a Power Poppy Friday post! I hope all is well in your little corner of the world. :) I have a petite card to share with you today using Power Poppy's Prairie Cheer stamp set.
I started by stamping my image and sentiment on to white card stock with Memento's Tuxedo Black ink and coloring it with Copics. Next, I die cut my image and some patterned paper and stitched the two together. After that, I added a little gold leafing with a Krylon 18 KT Gold Leafing pen and spritzed a little ink around using a spritzing tool and a Stampin' Up! marker. Lastly, I adhered my image panel to a layered card base. This card measures 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" .
I think that sweet little cone flower and pretty mixed font sentiment is just the thing to help someone feel better, don't you? I love Marcella's amazing detail on this bloom....I mean, just look at those petals and the flower center.....WOW! This little bloom is quick to color up and makes quite a floral statement.
So that is all for my card today, but some of my Bloomie sisters have some lovely cards to share with you today....please make sure you check them out and leave them a little blog love while you are there. Also, make sure you check out the latest goings on over at the Power Poppy blog! I sure hope you have a wonderful day and I thank you so much for your visit today. I hope you can stop by again soon....until then, take care! :)

Happy Power Poppy Friday~May 11th!
Hello there and happy Friday to you! I have a super quick post to share today using an image from Power Poppy's Everything's Even Rosier stamp set and a sentiment from the Prairie Cheer stamp set.
I started by stamping my image with Hero Arts' Intense Black ink onto white card stock. This is the first time I have used this ink and I have to say, I really liked it! It is compatible with Copic markers and it really stamped very well. Next, I die cut my image with a stitched square die from My Favorite Things and colored my image with a ton of Copics. In my defense, I didn't color the roses all the same, right? ;)
After everything was colored, I stamped my sentiment with Verafine ink in Onyx Black and added some gold leafing around the edge with Krylon's 18KT Gold Leafing pen. I added a layer of stitched patterned paper and card stock and adhered everything to a card base that I die cut using a Spellbinders die. Lastly, I added a little shimmer with a Wink of Stella clear brush pen and some sparkle with a clear Atyou Spica pen .
So that is all for my card today but my Bloomie sister Christine Okken has a project to share with you and I am sure it is a stunner. Make sure you leave a little blog love when you visit her. :)
I thank you so much for your visit today and I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Oh hey....have you heard that new Power Poppy stamps are just around the corner? Yep, and let me say....you will be amazed at what that darling Marcella has been up to! Just you wait! :) I hope you'll pop in again soon....until next time, take care!

Happy Power Poppy Friday~January 19th!
Hello there and welcome back for another Power Poppy Friday! How have you been? We have been getting some very c-o-l-d weather here...complete with snow....again! I am loving seeing the snow, but the temperatures in the teens are getting a bit old....and the impact the weather has had on our camellias has not been good. Most of the about-to-open blooms were lost on two of our camellias and we are waiting to see about the other two....keeping our fingers crossed. So, I figured if I can't have the real blooms, I'll just color one up from Marcella's incredibly beautiful stamp set, Simply Camellias.
I started by stamping my image with Memento's Tuxedo Black ink on to white card stock. Next, I die cut the image and then colored it up with Copics. After that, I stitched some patterned paper along one side, then stamped a sentiment from the Prairie Cheer stamp set with Tsukineko's Versafine ink in Onyx Black. Lastly, the image panel was adhered to a blue card stock base. This finished card measures 3 1/4" x 4 3/4".
Don't you just love this darling little camellia bloom? As always, Marcella's amazing details make this a dream to color up. I chose to color this bloom as a variegated variety....actually, I am on the look out for a good variegated camellia to join our others. I am thinking if I could find one like this, we'd be set! ;)
So, that is all for my card today, but some of my Bloomie sisters have some lovely creations for your Friday inspiration, so make sure you check them out and leave a little blog love while you are there. Make sure you also check out the latest goings on over on the Power Poppy blog.....lots of good stuff to see! I am so glad you could stop by, and I hope to see you around her again soon. Until then...take care! And....stay warm! :)

Happy Power Poppy Friday~August 25th
Hello there and welcome! I hope you have had a wonderful week! I have a little card to share for Power Poppy's Friday inspiration today featuring the Prairie Cheer stamp set.
And when I say little card....I do mean that! This card measures a petite 2 3/4" x 4". I started by stamping my image and die cutting it out. After coloring it up with Copics, I added a little shimmer with a Wink of Stella clear brush pen and some ink spatters with a Stampin' Up! tool. I stitched a bit of gingham paper onto some purple card stock, tied on a bit of ribbon and then attached the panel to my card base. After rounding the corners, I added my image panel with foam dimensionals. I used a hole punch to notch out a little spot on my image panel before adhering it so it could snug up to my bow.
So that is all for my card today but some of my amazingly talented Bloomie sisters have created some real beauties for your Friday inspiration....make sure you leave a little blog love when you visit. I thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you will pop in again soon. Until then, take care.

Power Poppy's August Stamp Release~Day One!
Hi there and welcome! I hope this day finds you well. Today marks the start of Power Poppy's August Stamp Release- the Nature and Nurture Collection. So how about a little Prairie Cheer to kick things off today?
I started by stamping the wheat image a few times with Memento's Rich Cocoa ink on some Papertrey Ink Rustic Cream card stock. I colored the image with Copics and then ran it through my Spellbinders Grand Calibur with a PTI wood grain impression plate. Next, I die cut a circle out using Spellbinders Classic Circle Large set. I used some PTI Chai and Chamomile inks to give an aged look to the panel, added some shimmer with a Wink of Stella Clear brush pen, then added some gold leafing to the interior of the circle cut out with a Krylon 18KT gold leafing pen. Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Olive and Oak Expanded stamp set with Stampin' Up!'s Cajun Craze ink onto some more cream card stock and adhered it to my image panel. After that, I stitched some patterned paper from Authentique's "Thankful" 6x6 paper pad and then adhered everything to a card base of PTI's Dark Chocolate card stock. To finish it off, I added some gold thread and buttons.
You can't tell in the picture, but that shimmer from the Wink of Stella pen really makes the wheat pop. Don't you just love all of the detail in this beautiful image? I don't know how Marcella does it! The finished card size is 3 3/4" x 4 5/8". And here is a little view of the inside of the card. The sentiment is another from the Olive and Oak Expanded set and the wheat was stamped in PTI's Classic Kraft ink...
So that is all for my card today, but my Bloomie sisters have once again created quite a display of lovely cards for your inspiration. Make sure you check them all out and leave a little blog love while you are there. Then, please come back tomorrow for Day 2 of Power Poppy's Release...I think you will be very happy to see this familiar image! :) Make sure you also check out all of the festivities on the Power Poppy blog! Until tomorrow, take care....
