Happy Power Poppy Friday~June 29th!

Hello, hello, hello!  Happy Friday to you and welcome for a slightly delayed Power Poppy Friday post!  I hope this lovely day finds you well.  I have a quick little card to share with you today using Power Poppy's new set, Hellebore and Hyacinth, paired with a sentiment from the Nice Things to Say stamp set.

For my card I stamped the hyacinth image onto white card stock with Memento's Tuxedo Black ink, colored it with Copics, and die cut it.  Next, I stamped my sentiment and stitched a little patterned paper in the corner.  Lastly, I adhered the image panel to my card base.  This card measures 5" x 3 5/8".

I have to say, I was really excited to see these previously digital images make it to a clear stamp set.  Don't get me wrong, digis are wonderful, but there is just something so  special about stamping it out, don't you think?  :)  As always, the incredible detail that Marcella added makes this a snap to color up!

So that is all for my card today, but some of my Bloomie sisters have some Friday inspiration for you, so make sure you check it out and leave a little blog love while you are there.  Make sure you check out the Power Poppy blog too for all the latest happenings at Bloom Central!  :) I hope you have a great day AND weekend.  Hope to see you around again soon...until then, take care!  :)

  1. Anytime is a good time to see your gorgeous coloring, Katie! The stitched corner of DP is the perfect little accent for your beautifully arranged image and sentiment. Stamps and digis both have their virtues. I'm so glad Marcy offers both!

What depth you've achieved, and I love the layout...elegant and definitely (as Leslie said) a lovely touch with the stitched corner of DP. Beautifully done, as always, sweet friend! Hope you are having a lovely summer!! Hugs and love! xoxo
