Power Poppy's Happiest Holiday 2017 Stamp Release~Day 2!

Hello there and welcome back for Day 2 of Power Poppy's Happiest Holiday 2017 release!  I sure hope you enjoyed yesterday's kick off and today's set will surely not disappoint!  Please put your hands together for Rustic Rejoicing!  :)

This incredible set comes with a couple of good sized images and some really pretty sentiments.  I chose to use the dove image for my card...

I started by die cutting and then coloring up my image with Copics.  I added some shimmer with a clear Wink of Stella brush pen and some shine to the bulbs with Ranger Glossy Accents.

Ok, funny little something here....I was just coloring away on my image and already had my card assembled when I read the description of the image.  As it turns out, what I colored up as mistletoe is actually an olive branch.  Well, dang.  Has anyone heard of a white olive? ;)

Sooo, moving on...I assembled my card base and added a few die cut pine branches for a little texture, then added my image panel.

Oh, how I love this sweet dove!  There is so much detail in the image, coloring her up was a snap. And don't you just love the mixed fonts in these sentiments?!

So that is all for my card today, but once again my Bloomie sisters have really got some amazing cards for you to see.  Make sure you leave them a little blog love and also make sure you check out Marcella's post on the Power Poppy blog.  Thank you so much for your visit today and I would love it if you would pop back in later in the week when I will catch up with my teammates for another stamp sneak peek....until then, take care!  :)

  7. Wow, sweet Katie! I LOVE your card, and what a sweet dove! Your cards always have that "Katie" look of elegance, and I love how you've stitched, sponged, and colored it up! And I don't like olives myself, so I'm thinking "my" card will have these colors...hehe! Beautifully done, sweet friend!! Hugs!

  8. So, so pretty! I love the rich earth tones paired with the bright and cheery tones of your old fashioned bulbs. The extra shimmer and the die cut pine poking out from underneath adds the perfect touch!

  11. Another "must have"!! Maybe some olives start out sort of white. Could be. You make the dove look easy to color, but it takes skill to come out so good. LOVE this!!
