Happy Power Poppy Friday~ September 15th!

Hello there and a very happy Friday to you!  I have a really quick post to share with you for Power Poppy's Friday inspiration using the darling Autumn set, Feeling Fall.  For my card, I used the adorable welly full of leaves and a couple of sentiments from the same set.

I started by stamping my image on a cream card stock rectangular die cut and then colored it up with a ton of Copics!  After my image was colored, I added some distress inks, some shimmer with a Wink of Stella clear brush pen, and then my sentiment stamped on a hand cut triangle.  Once I stitched the corner sentiment, I set the image panel aside to work on my card layers.  I used some cream and some plaid patterned papers and added some stitching.  To finish off this layer, I stamped my second sentiment.

For my card base, I scored a line about half an inch or so from the top of one of two brown card stock rectangles and then  adhered the two rectangle panels together at the top.  Next, I ran my card base through my Big Shot to die cut the scallop edge along the top of my card.

All that was left was to adhere my layers to my card base.  The image panel was adhered with foam tape for added dimension.  This card measures 5 3/8" x 3 1/4".

I just love this little scene and all of the sweet details Marcella packed in here.  As always, this image was a dream to color up!  :)

So that is all for my card today, but several of my incredibly talented Bloomie sisters have some pretty amazing cards to share with you.  Make sure you leave a little blog love when you visit them.  :)  Oh, and if you haven't checked out the Power Poppy blog lately, make sure you do that too!  Lots of wonderful things going on over there and a challenge or two to really get you in the crafting spirit!  I am so glad you were able to visit today...and I am hoping that you are doing "welly welly well" too!  Hope you can pop back in again soon and until then....take care!
