Happy Power Poppy Friday!

Hey there and a very happy Friday to you!  It is so good to be able to share a card with you today.  I have been a bit under the weather for a while but I am happy to say that things are slowly getting back to normal around here.  I sure have missed card making and I really have missed our visits!  :)

So, for today's card I thought I would use one of the newest Power Poppy stamp sets, Peony Muse.  This set has so many possibilities.  I thought it would be fun to spotlight the biggest bloom in the set and I paired it with a sentiment from another new Power Poppy set, Loving Tulips.

I used a few dies to build up my card base starting with two scalloped circles, then the pierced circles.  I stamped my sentiment onto some patterned paper with my MISTI....I am so loving this tool!  :)  I added a little gold leafing on the inner circle to highlight the sentiment then got busy coloring up my bloom and leaves with Copics.  This amazing stamp set actually has coordinating dies (which are completely wonderful) but I decided to fussy cut these instead.  Once I had arranged everything, I adhered it all down using glue dots and foam tape to add some dimension.

If that bloom doesn't make you swoon, then I don't know what will!  Just look at all of that glorious detail that Marcella is famous for.....and this image is such a dream to color!

So that is all for my card today, but several of my Bloomie sisters have created some beautiful cards for your Friday inspiration...so make sure you check them out and leave a little blog love while you are there.  Again, I am so happy to be able to share a card today.  Thank you so much for popping in.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and until next time....take care!  :)
