Definitely NOT disappointed. I applaud you (loudly) for tackling the two tone color scheme on those roses. Gorgeous Katie girl. I'm hoping you have been bypassed by the snowy weather. Stay safe and warm. Love that you kept the card simple, but beautiful touches with your gold guilding and your stitching. What a gorgeous combination with the coral-red rose. Your tin cup is very authentic in appearance the way you've colored it. Love the simplicity of the design with the gilded edge. You're so good with that gold leafing pen. I wonder if I have the wrong kind of pen. Mine, which I've had forever and rarely use, has a large sketch-like tip. I know what you mean about wanting to use every crayon in the box. I used a LOT of Copics for this! Your coloring just knocks my socks off!Leslie Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12242569371751832426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1677216790841656135.post-83945968942726252752016-01-22T12:53:43.147-05:002016-01-22T12:53:43.147-05:00Well look at you girlie, nice to see you this fine...Well look at you girlie, nice to see you this fine Friday. ;-) I bet these roses in your mom's garden are just as gorgeous as this creation. Outstanding job on the petals and just gorgeously colored. They look so real! I like the stitching for a final touch on the background. I love both colors of the roses and am enamored by the yellow blooms with the red-orange tips. They must be gorgeous in your dear momma's yard! Oh, what inspiration!
